Anti-Bullying Steering Group...

Anti-Bullying Week  November 2015

“During Anti-Bullying week we had some fantastic actors come into our fabulous school. They performed a phenomenal show which showed all pupils what bullying is, and how it can affect other people’s lives.

It taught us about the different types of bullying and how to deal with it, for example: telling an adult such as your teacher, family members or any adult that you trust. Always remember that there is someone for you to talk to!”

By Katie and Martina 6S.

Anti-Bullying Code...

The Steering Group devised a code which they launched in a whole-school assembly. This code is displayed around the school and in every classroom:

All pupils have the right to be safe

Never judge someone by their appearance

Tell somebody about your situation

Ignore and walk away

Become a team

Understand that bullying is wrong

Let's co-operate and be friendly

Learn to look after each other

You shouldn't be afraid to speak up

Include others

Never give up what you believe in

Give a little love every day
